if you all haven't already known , i'm a MALAYSIAN and damn PROUD to be one !

so , here i've listed 20 fun facts about malaysia...

1 ) They drive on the Left side of the road.

2 ) Islam is the official religion of the country.

3 ) AT 421 metres high, the Kuala Lumpur Tower is the fourth tallest in the world and tallest in Southeast Asia.

4 ) The official language is Malay (Bahasa Melayu).
5 ) Shoes must always be removed when entering a Malaysian home.  Sometimes even in shops you had to take your shoes off upon entering.

6 ) Times Square Mall is the largest mall in Malaysia with 15 floors, a rollercoaster, bowling alley, 3 Starbucks, a Wendy's, and a hotel.

7 ) Singapore is just a 5 hour bus ride away from Kuala Lumpur (capital city)

8 ) Malaysia has 65,877 km of highway. This is more than the Earth's circumference of 40,075 km. WOW!

9 ) When u asked ‘mat saleh’ to comment about Malaysia, they will probably say this, “most of the coffees and teas are sweetened with TONS of sugar” and "ohh , whats that smelly sour spiked fruit called again ? it has an extraordinary taste! - DURIANS -".

10 ) The Kelantan Menteri Besar Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat was ranked at 42 from 500 most influential muslims worldwide. He is the only Malaysian-Muslims listed in top 50, which means he is the MOST INFLUENTIAL MUSLIM IN MALAYSIA. Impressive!
11 ) THE Penang Bridge is the third longest in Asia at 13.7 km

12 ) Malaysian people are funny because we bought 2 submarines (Scorpene) for 3.4 billions ringgit, and it cannot even dive! But it’s okay, it can be turn to be ‘sampan’.   
13 ) We bought 12 Eurocopters for RM2.317 billion, while Brazil bought the same 50 units of Eurocopter, for US$1.2 billion (RM4.14 billion). U do the math.

14 ) THE largest cave chamber in the world is the Sarawak Chamber in Gunung Mulu National Park in Sarawak, which can easily accommodate a Boeing 747-200.

15 ) MALAYSIA shares with Qatar the world's lowest death rate of respiratory diseases, at 7.5 death per annum per 100 000 people.

16 )TANJUNG Piai in sounthern Johor is the southernmost tip of continental Asia.

17 )  SABAH is home to the Rafflesia, the lagest flower in the world.

18 ) THE Belum rainforest has more Malayan tigers per square kilometer than any other animal sanctuary here.
